Luke Donald has been the Top European Player in golf in 2011 so far, which is reflected in his rise to World No.1. He will be brimming with confidence ahead of the US Open following a number of impressive performances, including most recently his win at the BMW PGA Championship, where he defeated Lee Westwood in a play-off.
Donald won the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship at the start of 2011before impressing at the US Masters in April when he finished tied fourth.
